This new project was strongly supported by Don Claudio Curcetti, who has been visiting the Come Noi projects in Rwanda for three years.
For some years, in Rwanda, the Church has been taking responsibility for the reception, scholastic and work training of the many single mothers who, due to poverty, ignorance and culture, are abandoned by their families and removed from school. In the parish of Kinihira, where our friend Don Patrice is parish priest, a sewing workshop has been active for three years to help single mothers learn a trade. Furthermore, houses are built every year to accommodate them with their children. Don Claudio financed this initiative, thanks to the financial support of many donors who are his friends. Since 2024 these activities have been included in Come Noi’s budget.
